VideoPropulsion Exhibiting At IBC 2016 in Amsterdam

VideoPropulsion is exhibiting on stand 5.C11 at the IBC 2016 trade show in Amsterdam September 9-13. The company is highlighting its satellite head end transcryption appliances including high-density MPEG-TS transcoders for multiformat delivery and content security solutions that are applicable worldwide.

Slinger, Wisconsin August 31, 2016 – VideoPropulsion® (OTC:VPTV) is again exhibiting at IBC 2015 in Amsterdam September 9-13. The company is showing its latest offerings for transcoding, transrating and transcaling of HD bitrates and resolutions for delivery to a wide variety of mobile, handheld, or TV-everywhere digital video streaming applications.

Pushing the envelope for the highest density and lowest cost digital television appliances, VideoPropulsion will showcase it’s just announced CAMbrick high density Conditional Access Module (CAM) and Smartcard Array. This cleverly packaged assembly consists of one to seven modules designed to fit in a standard, 3.5”, hot-swap hard disk drive (HDD) canister for convenient mounting in a server. With 8 decrypts per CAM/Smartcard, a total of up to 208 channels can be simultaneously descrambled using seven canisters in a drive bay and a single PCIe slot.

VideoPropulsion’s Monsoon FG-5000 Transcoder and FloodGate FG-9200V Bulk Descrambler for Verimatrix will also be presented, each with new and enhanced capabilities. VideoPropulsion offers a variety of appliances with integrated satellite receivers, CAM arrays, transcoders, encrypters, and QAMs. The Company’s flagship FloodGate Monsoon FG-5000 series can now receive multiple MPEG programs via DVB-S2 satellite, decrypt the programs using embedded CAMbrick, transcode the content from H2.65 to MPEG2, re-encrypt the programs using AES-128 encryptions, multiplex then modulate output on QAM. FG-5000 boxes can support IP multicast streams for delivery on IP networks. Optional inputs include DVB-ASI and DVB-S2, optional outputs meet DVB standards for Annex A, B, or C QAM or COFDM. Virtually any standard AES-128 based encryption is supported, and the Company offers a wide variety including Pro:Idiom®, SamsungLynk®, Verimatrix®, NSTV®, Conax®, Vsecure®, and other custom proprietary encryptions as well as watermarking providing customers with many choices for decrypt and encrypt.
