Amsterdam, Netherlands (PRWEB) August 22, 2014

VideoPropulsion® (OTC:VPTV) will announce support for 64-bit Windows drivers across its line of PCI-Express based digital television stream processing adapters at the International Broadcasters Convention (IBC) here next month. The new drivers and SDK with sample command-line applications and documentation enable OEM system builders to quickly prototype and build their own MPEG stream processing systems for multiplexing and modulating MPEG-Systems Transport Streams commonly used in digital television applications.

Whether it’s the VideoPropulsion DVB-ASI adapters, or the multiplexing QAM modulators – support for Windows is now on par with the company’s long-standing offering for Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, OpenSolaris, OpenIndiana, and other Unix-based operating systems.

The new 64-bit Windows drivers offer high efficiency with very low system overhead and are fully re-entrant. The driver handles any MPEG2 encapsulated transport stream and takes care of all multiplexing – including automatic PSI generation and PID collision avoidance.

“Many customers have asked us to support the 64-bit Windows development environment for easier integration into their own digital television products,” said Lee McKenna, Vice President of Marketing at VideoPropulsion. “We put our long-tenured team of top-shelf engineers to the task and we are very pleased to announce support for Windows across our line of digital television stream processing adapters.”

Windows 64-bit drivers and SDK are available directly from VideoPropulsion. The Company will be exhibiting its products at IBC on stand 6.A05.
