Carl Pick

Chairman, CEO, Chief Scientist

A co-founder, Mr. Pick is responsible for corporate development, technology strategy, and overall corporate management. Mr. Pick holds a BS in computer engineering and a MS in computer science from Yale University. Mr. Pick has been the Company's visionary and evangelist since its inception.  He is responsible for many of VPI's implementation concepts and holds the patent for the firm's high performance, virtual switch fabric.  He is past Chairman of the High Performance Networking Forum and has actively participated in many ANSI I/O standards committees for over two decades.


Barbara Pick

Vice Chairman

A co-founder and the wife of Mr. Pick, Ms. Pick is responsible for corporate relationships and sales management. Ms. Pick holds a BA in psychology from Connecticut College and a MS in computer science from Yale University. Ms. Pick has been responsible at various times in her career for building and managing teams for engineering, production, customer support, and procurement including positions as VP Engineering, VP Sales, and Executive VP. She has hands on technical experience in device driver development, systems integration, and troubleshooting, as well as more than 25 years of experience in international sales with  contacts in the industry worldwide.  She championed the group's involvement in the digital video market and continues to foster strategic relationships for business development in this area.


Robert McCormack

President, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. McCormack is responsible for finance and operations at VideoPropulsion, joining the Company in October 2008.  He was previously an Executive Vice President and COO at the Spancrete Group, Inc., growing that business several times over in 15 years. He holds BS degrees in accounting and finance from the University of Wisconsin.


David Simpson

Executive Vice President, General manager of Broadcast Gateways Division

Mr. Simpson joined VideoPropulsion in 2007 and serves as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Broadcast Gateways Division in Saratoga, CA.  Mr. Simpson provides leadership in technology direction, strategic partnerships, and business development. Mr. Simpson spent a total of 10 years at On Command Corporation with his final position being Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. Other positions at On Command included Senior Vice President Engineering & Operations and Vice President Operations. Prior to On Command Corporation, Mr. Simpson founded a company focused on Home gateway technology and served on the Texas Technology Council - Governor George Bush's initiative to develop technology companies in Texas.  Earlier Mr. Simpson served as Division Manager of Electrospace Systems, Inc. (a $450M Military Electronics Manufacturing subsidiary of Chrysler Corporation) with responsibilities for operations, engineering and business development. Mr. Simpson holds a BS Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University.


Craig Snelgrove

Vice President of Sales

Mr. Snelgrove is responsible for directing sales activities globally. Mr. Snelgrove was previously C.O.O. of Guest-Tek Interactive Entertainment, a hospitality service provider. He held senior Business Development and Operations positions at Elastic Networks, an equipment vendor to hospitality, MDU and carrier markets, after a lengthy career in Finance at Nortel Networks. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of British Columbia and an LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario. Mr. Snelgrove joined VideoPropulsion in October, 2008.


Donald Woelz

Vice President of Marketing

Mr. Woelz is responsible for directing all marketing programs including  trade shows, website, reseller programs, technology presentations and marketing communications. He holds a BS in electrical engineering from Marquette University and pursued post-graduate studies in electrical engineering and computer science at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.  Mr. Woelz joined the organization in 1977 and has held the positions of National Sales Manager, Vice President of Engineering, and Vice President of Sales.  He has also served as Vice President of the ANSI T11.1 Standards Committee.


Joe Nordman

Vice President of Engineering

Mr. Nordman is responsible for research and development, hardware development and engineering management. He holds a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin.  Mr. Nordman joined the Company in 1984.


Brad Powers

Finance Manager

Mr. Powers joined the Company in 1977, serving as finance manager, the position he maintains with the Company today. He is responsible for corporate accounting and finance. He graduated with a BA degree from Lawrence University.


Curt Cramer

Production Manager

Mr. Cramer is responsible for production and quality control of the various products developed and produced. Mr. Cramer has been with the organization since 1978 in a variety of positions and holds a BS degree in General Engineering and a BA degree in Mathematics from the University of Illinois.
