The VideoPropulsion® FloodGate® enables guests and residents of hotels, hospitals, dormitories, and timeshares to view all of the HDTV content that is available from satellite or cable TV providers at the lowest cost per channel in the industry. FloodGate head-end appliances are available in a variety of models supporting distribution via RF (coax) or IPTV (Ethernet) and can co-exist with most of the pay-per-view and video-on-demand systems currently deployed.
FloodGate cable TV systems can manage HDTV programming from most cable television operators using any of a variety of standard HD set top boxes in the hospitality head end. Solutions offering up to 24 channels are available, and multiple FloodGate appliances can be combined to provide larger channel line-ups.
DIRECTV has a huge line-up of HDTV programming available for hospitality markets, and all of it can be securely delivered to the guest room televisions by VideoPropulsion's FloodGate using Zenith Pro:Idiom encryption over coax or IP, or Verimatrix encryption over IP. A variety of models cover channel line-ups ranging from 6 to 24 HD channels. More HD channels can be supported using additional FloodGate appliances.
All of the HDTV services offered by DISH Network for commercial hospitality systems are accessible to FloodGates using DISH ViP222 receivers. FloodGate solutions range from 6 HD channels up to 30 HD channels. Multiple units can be stacked to provide as many HD channesl as you need. There are FloodGate models for either RF coax or Ethernet IPTV installations using Zenith Pro:Idiom® or VerimatrixTM VCAS for content security.
