FloodGate FG-9100D
The FG-9100D is the premier offering of our new generation of FloodGate products for use with DIRECTV®. Enabling up to 32 premium HDTV channels per unit by using COM23 receivers to provide the lowest cost per DIRECTV HD channel in the industry. An Electronic Program Guide and a private hotel channel can be included in the channel lineup.
The FG-9100D delivers content with Pro:Idiom® encryption technology, a Hollywood approved standard for protecting content in commercial environments including hotels, motels, timeshares, hospitals, assisted living residences and other bulk commercial locations.
FloodGate installation is extremely quick using simple Ethernet connections between DIRECTV COM23 receivers, an Ethernet switch, and the FloodGate.
The FloodGate Manager web interface allows you to intuitively manage receiver status, upload a channel line-up, and start and stop service. The FloodGate Manager configures channels automatically on the COM23 receivers based on the channel lineup and then modulates them over a new or existing coax cable infrastructure using QAM technology. Most DIRECTV HDTV programming is transported using MPEG4 transport streams. The FG-9100D multiplexes DIRECTV channels on QAM channels, delivering Pro:Idiom protected content to MPEG4 Pro:Idiom compatible commercial TV's. Management tools are included to enable proactive remote service resolution including automated failover to spare receivers in the case of failure.
